Sally Kemara Perkins – Bush Flowers

$2,900.00

Sally Kemara Perkins is an Eastern Arrernte artist whose paintings represent the landscape of her childhood and landscape of her new home at Atitjere. She derives her inspiration from the beauty and harshness of the Eastern Desert landscape. Her paintings depict the startling effect of rains on her country when  desert landscape is transformed into a maze of wild bush flowers.  Sally builds colour upon colour on a dark background and then veils it in a kaleidoscopic pattern of white.
